Underneath the Sphinx

Beneath the Sphinx lies a series of chambers that you must explore.
Sights to See
 The chambers beneath the sphinx are filled with various hieroglyphics, so you would do well to bone up on your Egyptian hieroglyphics. As you explore the chambers, you will find artifacts dedicated to Maat, Kephri, Atum, and Re.

Maat considered to be the daughter of Ra by some traditions, and represents truth or justice. Atum was believed to be a primordial creator god, while Re is a spelling variant of the sun god Ra. Kephri is considered to be something of a synthesis of Atum and Re.

The chambers are full of impressive examples of some of the ancient Egyptian engineering and mysticism. Unfortunately for you, all of it was set in place to prevent intrusion into these chambers.
Tomb Guards
 Fairly soon in your visit to these tunnels, you will encounter two bulls, Guardians of Semerkhet. As usual, your weapons are useless against their armored hide.
Local Fauna
 Within these dark tunnels, you will encounter lots of bats and a few crocodiles.
Souvenirs
There are four artifacts that you must retrieve to proceed through the tunnels, and then there are four holy scriptures that you will need later on.
Hidden Treasures
 There is one secret that can be found if you're compulsive. Most will likely not dare to look for it after a little exploration of the area where it can be found.
Hazards
 The two bulls are a hazard early on, after that, the deep pits will be your biggest problem. Toward the end of the level, you'll have to face a sliding ceiling covered with spinning blades and a couple more pits.
