Step forward and turn right. Step forward out of the hallway onto
the landing of a circular set of stairs. Lara will take in the
lovely chamber and the fountain and note an opening high above on the
eastern side of the chamber. Run down the circular steps to the floor of this chamber. Run along the edge of the pool and angle Lara to the left when she is beyond the pool. Enter the small opening in the north wall. Turn left and run up the ramp. Draw pistols when Lara nears the top of the ramp and aim at the coffer which is slightly to the right. Blow it apart and then step up onto the ledge to pick up a box of regular shotgun shells (1) and a box of wideshot shotgun shells (2). Turn left and walk along the south side of the ramp. Turn right when Lara gets to the balcony. Another skeletal warrior (1) will awaken behind Lara. Draw the shotgun and turn around. Take a standing jump over the skeleton when it charges. Reverse roll and two blasts from the shotgun should be sufficient to blow it off the balcony. Walk to the alcove on the eastern side of this chamber and locate a panel with a carved face. Use the crowbar to pry open the panel. Enter the dark tunnel and follow it as it turns right and heads upwards. The tunnel will open to a chamber with a barred window. Run forward to the panel on the wall ahead and use the crowbar to pry it open. Run forward and Lara will arrive at the opening high above the eastern wall of the fountain room. Step forward and drop into the hole. Take a jump off the ramp when Lara nears the bottom of the ramp and she will splash into the oily pool below. Quickly wade forward and climb out of the pool before it ignites. Take a hairpin turn to the left and aim Lara for the flat ledge on the opposite side of the room. |

Black Beetle
|
Take a running jump to that ledge and turn right. Step forward and
turn right to locate an alcove below. Take a standing jump down to
the alcove and pry the fourth Black Beetle (3) from the wall. This will turn the ramp that
Lara slid in from into ledges. Turn around step forward to the edge of the oily pool. Angle Lara to the left and take a standing jump back up to the previous ledge. Turn around and aim Lara for the ledge onto which she initially vaulted when she climbed out of the oily pool. Take a running jump and attempt to grab the ledge. Lara won't grab onto anything but it will adjust her trajectory and she will land on the ledge. Turn right and step forward onto the part of the ledge that was raised when Lara obtained the beetle. Turn right and step forward to the edge of the platform. Take a running jump off the raised platform and grab onto the opening that Lara slid in from earlier. Vault up the three ledges and climb out of the hole. Step forward to the edge of the opening and turn around. Safety drop to the floor and turn around again. Run forward and turn left. Run up the circular stairs and reenter the hallway that leads back into the Temple of Isis. Turn left and run forward. |
