Pharos, Temple of Isis (1st)
Items: 19
Kills: 5
Submerged due to an enormous earthquake around 30AD, Pharos, Temple of Isis is now in a submerged cavern.
Sights to See
Isis is the Greek version of the Egyptian goddess Aset. Isis has become the synthesis of the attributes of all the Egyptian godesses. She is the goddess of motherhood, marital devotion, and healing the sick. Isis is the wife of Osiris, sister of Set, and the mother of Horus. She is among the most revered, if not the most revered of the Egyptian godesses.

The temple was constructed along coast in Alexandria for worshippers to pay homage to Isis, but the structure was thought to be destroyed by a tremendous earthquake that hit the area around 30 AD; however, you have discovered that the entire structure sank into an underground cavern and is now submerged by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

There is little other documentation about this temple and what lies within. There are stories of creatures and knowing that together Isis and Osiris ruled the "Land of the Dead", you should expect some freaky stuff.
Local Fauna
Deep within the submerged cavern, you will find a hammerhead shark that's patrolling the cavern, but within the temple itself you may find swarms of hungry beetles.
Temple Guards
Legends speak of undead guards and fantastic poisonous winged creatures that breath fire.
Souvenirs
You need to collect a set of four Black Beetle artifacts in order to gain access to another aftifact, however several of the beetle artifacts in the temple are broken, and you will only find three usable beetles in the temple. You will also find a key, of sorts.
Hidden Treasures
There are no secrets.
Hazards
The temple is fairly safe. There are a few enemies to deal with, but you have experience with skeletons, and you'll quickly learn to deal with the others. The most troubling hazard you will encounter will probably be the swarms of beetles that pour out of the walls.
