Draw pistols, step forward, turn right and run down the stairs. A
golden vraeus (1) will appear at the top
of the stairs on the right. Open fire and keep jumping around to
avoid its poisonous tail and flaming bolts. When its dead, run up the stairs on the western side of the chamber. At the top of the steps, turn left and run down the hallway. Turn right and enter the next chamber. Angle Lara to the left and run up the steps. Continue forward into the room with the blue pyramid. |

Mechanical Scarab
|
Place the fourth beetle into the last receptacle to cause the last
face of the pyramid to retract. The top of the pyramid will be
suspended by some kind of radiating force. Run forward and take the
Mechanical Scarab (1) from the
platform. Exit through the opening on the eastern side of the chamber. Run forward, down the steps and angle Lara to the left. Enter the hallway and turn left. Run to the end of the hallway and turn right. Run down the stairs and turn left. Run up the steps on the north side of the room and turn left. Run to the end of the hallway to return to Cleopatra's Palaces. |
