Inside Menkaure's Pyramid
Items: 3
Kills: 13
Once you are Inside Menkaure's Pyramid you will find some atypical measures that the tomb builders have gone through to protect this tomb.
Sights to See
Menkaure, the fifth king of the fourth dynasty, was the successor to Khephern. His pyramid was not completed at the time of his death, and was completed by his son.

Although the exterior reveals the granite encasement was never completed, the burial chamber is deeper than either of the other two pyramids at Giza. he walls within the pyramid and below the pyramid's foundation, were lined with granite.

The sarcophagus was found, but was lost at sea while it was being shipped to England, and it is thought that there's nothing left to find in the pyramid until recent seismic activity has revealed more of the chambers below the pyramid.

What you will find is trap after trap to discourage tomb robbers. However that shouldn't hinder a seasoned explorer as yourself. The traps are fairly obvious, so we just ask that you be careful.
Tomb Guards
Within the tomb you will find some of the usual occupants of these tombs, your run of the mill mummies. Deeper within the tomb you will find a more menacing guardian.
Local Fauna
Of the more natural inhabitants of the regions, if you can call them natural, are some bats and giant scorpions.
Souvenirs
There is one artifact of note, the Western Shaft Key, for you to retrieve.
Hidden Treasures
There is one secret that you will likely slide right past if you don't know where to look. In fact, the first you'll see of it is when it's whizzing past you.
Hazards
The plethora of giant scorpions, and spiked pits will present the greatest hazard to your well-being. If you're careful, you should be okay.
