Street Bazaar (1st) |
Items: 11 |
Kills: 1 |
| Although you'll find a talkative soldier, you won't be given too many clues on your initial visit to the Street Bazaar. here are a few hints to get you through. | |||
Carjacking
No, you can't drive the blue car, but before you leave the garage, make sure you've picked up the car-jack and its handle, beside the mine detonator. After you have the needed items, you can push the big red button to exit the garage.
Apprentice Locksmith
Quickly after leaving the garage you will find yourself beneath a steel grate that's locked from the other side. Fine motor skills don't seem to be Lara's forte, not to mention that you have nothing with which to pick the lock. You can't shoot the padlock from this side of the gate. You don't have enough leverage to pry open the grate with the crowbar. If only there was some way to pop the lock. Check your inventory. If you were thorough in the garage, you should have what you need. There's a narrow brick ledge for you to use.
Least Resistance
If you remember back to your physics classes, you'll recall that lightning always chooses the path of least reasistance, but you don't need high school physics to know that lightning will choose to strike the highest point that provides the path of least resistance. In this case, it is the metal lift. There's a bridge that leads across the courtyard to another building that is blocked. If only you could get the lightning to strike the bridge instead of the metal lift. Well, if you can manage to lower the metal lift, then maybe the lightning will srike the bridge. There's a couple of big metal sledges, but they're not heavy enough.
Fly on the Wall
That's what you'll need to be to get from the bridge to the opposite building. Shift around until you find the ledge. From there you'll be able to drop down into the building.
Useless Advice
All that information that the dying soldier provided is mostly useless. As you explore the warehouse, you'll probably find his comrade. The moment you pick up the codes, you will find that you are the matador in a bullfight arena. To get out, you're going to have to convince the bull to knock the stack of three small long crates into the alcove to clear a path for your exit.
Ups and Downs
When you manage to work your way up to the upper balcony. Locate the tunnel that leads to a ramp that will drop you back into the trenches again.
