Drive the motorcycle up the street and dismount the motorcycle. Run
over to the building ahead and vault up onto the ledge. Pick up the
Uzi clips (1) from the back left corner
of the ledge and then turn right and run forward to drop to the
ground. Run across the street and jump or vault up onto the ledge ahead. Run forward and turn right. Run forward and turn left. Run past the palm tree and angle Lara to the right to enter the tunnel behind the palm tree. At the end of the small tunnel turn left and run forward. Follow the street as it winds to the right and then back to the left. Draw pistols as Lara rounds the corner, where a sniper (1) will emerge from his hiding place and open fire. Kill him by retreating back down the street while firing. Lara should be able to kill him while he attempts to pursue. Continue down the street, but stop before it intersects with the next street. There is a automatic machine gun (2) down the street to the right. Quickly sprint into the intersection and turn left. Take a standing jump over the steep slope and pick up a large Medi Pack (2) and a pair of Uzi clips (3). Return to the northern side of the street and hug the northern wall to avoid the machine gun. Face east and run forward to slide down the sandy slope. Run down the street, and stop before Lara enters the small opening at the eastern end of the street. Angle Lara to the right and run behind the stack of crates to the south. As soon as Lara gets behind the crates, crouch down to hide from the machine gun. Angle Lara back to the left and crawl forward to the east. When Lara is beyond the crates, turn left and crawl forward behind the brick wall. Crawl all the way to the end of the alley and stand up when Lara reaches the small opening. Turn left and use the lasersight to target the red dot on the back of the machine gun and blow it away. After destroying the machine gun installation, turn left and run back down the alley. As Lara nears the corner of the alley, jump up and grab the ledge above and pull up onto the ledge. Pick up the box of super grenades (4). Turn right and run forward until Lara reaches the pile of crates. Turn right and drop down onto the highest crate. Run forward and drop to the ground. Run forward onto the ledge and climb up onto the ledge above. Run forward to drop into the hole ahead and turn left. Follow the tunnel as it bends to the right and turn left when Lara reaches the crawlspace on the left. Crouch down and crawl into the crawlspace. Wait just before the first steam tunnel. As soon as the steam recedes crawl forward, and Lara will hear the footfalls of a sniper (3) in the next room. Quickly crawl backwards and draw pistols. Open fire on the sniper's knees until he falls. Now, wait for the steam from the first pipe to recede and crawl forward. Lara can wait for the second pipe to spew scalding hot steam, or just crawl quickly into the next room. Pick up the small Medi Pack (5) that the sniper dropped. Draw pistols, crouch down and blow apart the wooden crate in the corner. Step forward, being careful to avoid the fire, and pick up the wideshot shotgun shells (6). Go to the alcove in the northeastern corner of the room and turn toward the west. Climb up into the alcove and turn around. Use the lasersight and an appropriate weapon to take aim at the red dot on the back of the tank mounted on the automatic machine gun (4) in the tunnel ahead and destroy the gun. Use the lasersight to hit the sniper (5) in the tunnel beyond the automatic flame thrower, and quickly run forward to drop to the ground. Ready pistols and jump up and down to fire on the sniper as he runs around in the tunnel ahead. When he falls, turn right and step back into the room. When Lara is beside the crawlspace, turn left and crouch down. Wait for the steam from the first pipe to recede and crawl forward. Keep crawling forward, avoiding the steam from the next pipe and stand up when Lara is beyond the crawlspace. Turn left and run forward down the tunnel. Turn right and run forward to the end of the tunnel. Turn right and crouch down. Wait until the steam recedes from the first pipe recedes and crawl forward into the tunnel. |

Weapon Code Key
|
Lara can try her best to avoid the steam from the second pipe, but the
timing of the steam is too short, so expect to take some damage as she
crawls past. When Lara can stand, pick up the Weapon Code Key (7). Turn around and crouch down. Once again, have Lara try to time her crawl back through the tunnel, but expect to take a little damage as Lara makes her way back out of the crawlspace. When Lara can stand run forward and drop down into a trench ahead. The automatic machine gun1 (6) at the end of the tunnel becomes harmless after Lara picks up the code key. Step forward and grab the crevice in the wall ahead. Shimmy to the right until Lara rounds the corner. Continue shimmying to the right, over the deep pit, pausing to allow the steam from the pipe in the opposite wall to recede. After Lara rounds the corner, release from the crevice, and immediately draw powerful weapons to kill a sniper (7) that will attack. When the sniper is dead, vault up onto the wooden ledge with the automatic machine gun and run around behind it to pick up a large Medi Pack (8). Continue around to the other side of the machine gun and take a standing jump over the deep pit to land on the ledge beyond the pit. Draw powerful weapons and approach the overturned Jeep ahead. Run to the left and as Lara approaches the open hood of the jeep, another sniper (8) will appear from around the corner. Immediately reverse roll, run forward, and turn left to charge the sniper. |

Valve Pipe
|
When this sniper is dead, return to the open hood of the overturned
Jeep and pry loose the valve pipe (9)
from the engine. Run around the Jeep and enter the area below the
helicopter landing pad. Draw pistols and blow apart the wooden crate
in the northwest corner and take a standing jump into the alcove to
pick up a large Medi Pack (10). Exit the area below the helicopter landing pad, to the open area with the overturned Jeep and turn to the east. Reenter the tunnel that Lara just emerged from. Turn right and grab the crevice. Shimmy to the left until Lara clears the deep pit, and rounds the corner on the other side. Lara will not have to worry about the steam from the pipe this time through. Release from the crevice after Lara rounds the next corner and reverse roll. Run forward, stepping up onto the ledge, and turn right at the crawlspace. Run forward to the end of the tunnel. Turn left before Lara comes to the alcove and follow the tunnel, past the crawlspace on the right and turn left. Run forward and vault up onto the ledge at the end of the tunnel and turn right. Climb up out of the tunnel. Run forward and drop to the ground. Turn right and run forward to exit this area. Run down the street and turn left at the intersecting street. Follow the street as it bends to the right and back to the left. Reenter the small tunnel and emerge back behind the palm tree. Run around the palm tree, vault up onto the ledge and run forward to return to the motorcycle. Combine the valve pipe with the nitrous oxide canister to form the nitrous oxide feeder. Mount the nitrous oxide feeder on the motorcycle. Lara will mount the motorcycle. Turn the motorcycle around and drive it up over the hill to return to Tulun. |
